Research lines:

Socio-spatial planning and dynamics: this line addresses the issue of urban and metropolitan space production and the various agents interacting in this space and its interfaces, as well as the resulting socio-spatial structures. This is done under different approaches: urban development, the role of the state, urban and environmental management, among others.

Production, design and experience of the space: It addresses the theoretical and practical problems surrounding the production of the built environment, including design, construction, and interaction between the space and its users, with emphasis on the application of digital technologies in these processes.

 

Theory and History of Architecture and Urbanism and their relations with other arts and sciences: It discusses the theoretical, historical, analytical, and critical problems of Architecture and Urbanism, under a multidisciplinary perspective, with emphasis on the connections with other fields of knowledge, especially the social sciences, humanities and arts.
